Javad Karimi-Sabet, was born on July 25, 1973 in Qom. He received his bachelor’s degree and later his master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Tehran, Faculty of Engineering respectively in 1997 and 1999. He then graduated from Sharif University of Technology with a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering in 2011.
He has been working in the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran since 1999.
His research focuses on the development of new technologies for stable isotope separation, application development of stables isotopes, Multi-Scale modeling and simulation of processes related to nuclear fuel cycle.
Dr. Karimi-Sabet has published more than 80 journal articles and 90 conference papers which cover a variety of fields such as Stable Isotopes Separation, Supercritical fluid, Membrane Separation, Microfluidics and process modeling and he also, has authored and translated 6 books in the mentioned research areas.
Now, Dr. Karimi-Sabet is associate professor of chemical engineering at the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Research School, Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute (NSTRI). |
